Chad brings more than 30 years of technology experience and over two decades of executive leadership across cybersecurity, data security, FinTech, software, and highly regulated federal and private markets.


Chad specializes in helping technology-enabled organizations translate highly complex technical innovations—such as AI security and post-quantum readiness—into practical growth strategies, stronger market positioning, scalable revenue models, and maximized enterprise value.


Building Go-To-Market Playbooks for Groundbreaking Tech


Chad’s career is defined by his ability to bridge the gap between technical complexity and commercial execution. He has served in key senior executive roles across multiple disruptive technology organizations. Notably, as Chief Revenue Officer at Paperclip Inc., he owned the ground-up commercialization and go-to-market execution for SAFE, a disruptive privacy-enhancing, encryption-in-use, post-quantum ready data security platform. From defining ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and complex pricing structures to running analyst relations and market education, Chad built the foundational pipeline required to scale in highly regulated sectors.


As the President and Founder of CF Walter Consulting, Chad has extended this strategic blueprint to early-stage growth companies and startups, advising them on corporate strategy, market entry, international IT expansion, and operational turnarounds.


Scaling Cyber Services and Navigating M&A Due Diligence


For SHG clients navigating expansion or preparing for strategic transitions, Chad’s deep background in building recurring revenue structures and driving channel development is highly valuable.


Prior to his time at Paperclip, Chad served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Infinite Group Inc. There, he transformed a historically underperforming cybersecurity services organization into a highly scalable recurring revenue model. He successfully launched new vCISO and penetration-testing-as-a-service (PTaaS) offerings, led a comprehensive company rebrand to IGI Cybersecurity, and architected a robust channel sales ecosystem leveraging distribution, VAR, MSP, and MSSP partnerships.


His operational expertise is further highlighted by his tenure as Vice President of Business Development at GreyCastle Security. Chad managed direct and inside sales, multi-year contract retentions, and partner channels during a period of significant growth. Crucially, his leadership was instrumental to the firm's M&A due diligence and acquisition integration initiatives—giving him a firsthand understanding of what drives true enterprise value during a transaction.

A recognized thought leader in data privacy, advanced encryption, and secure digital infrastructure, Chad was named a Technology Trendsetter by Tech2.0Conf in 2026. He maintains strong active ties to the technology and security communities through his affiliations with InfraGard, the Cloud Security Alliance, the National Technology Security Coalition, and the Internet Society.


Chad studied General Business Administration at Sam Houston State University.
